Originally a board used to stop mud from being dashed inside a vehicle, the word dashboard has evolved to mean a user interface that organizes and presents information in a way that is easy to read. Your Blogger Dashboard is your control panel, your main editing interface to Blogger.
Once you have signed in to Blogger you will arrive at the Dashboard page from which you will have editorial access to all your blogs and your profile as well as Blogger News, Recently Updated Blogs, and Blogs of Note.
Note: Whenever you're navigating around Blogger and you are not already on the Dashboard page, you will see a blue button in the top right side corner of the page that says "Back to Dashboard."

Replace Page List Menu Gadget with a Link List

The Default Blogger Templates(which can be customized using the Designer) are all made to use the “Blog Pages” as your Blog’s Top Navigation Menu. This is done using a Page List Gadget. But , you might want to setup your own menu with Custom Links. In that case, you can replace the Page List Gadget with a Link List. This tutorial guides you on how you can replace the Page List with a Link List without loosing the Menu Styling(and the highlighted active links)..

How do i add non-page links to my Menu

This is a frequently asked question on the Blogger Help Forum. The solution is simple, if you want to display anything other than page links on your Menu, then you will have to use a Link List Gadget instead of using a Page List. If you are using one of the DefaultBlogger Templates, and if you have added a Page List Gadget below the header, you will be using "Page" links as the Navigation Menu. To change this to a Link list, follow these simple steps.

1. Login to your Blogger Account and navigate to the Design > Edit HTML tab. Do NOTcheck the “Expand Widget Templates” Option.

2. Now look for(Ctrl + F)

4. Save the Template.

5. Now you can manually add links to the Menu by using the Quick Edit Wrench Button .

The Styling of the Gadget will be preserved and the Active links will be highlighted.

How do I post to blogger via email?

The Mail-to-Blogger feature turns any email account into a blog-posting application. In Settings | Email you can create a Mail-to-Blogger address which you will use to send posts via email to your blog:

To post to your blog via email, you need to configure your Mail-to-Blogger email address in Settings | Email:

The format of the email address is username.secretword@blogger.com. Note that this email address must be kept secret. Otherwise, anyone who gets it will be able to post as you.
Also be sure to specify whether or not you prefer your email posts to publish automatically. If this option is not checked, then your posts will be saved on your account but will not appear on your blog until you log in to Blogger.com and publish them yourself.
Once you have saved your Settings, you can send email to your blog. The subjects of your email letters will be the titles of your posts, and the body of the emails will be the posts themselves. To include an image in your post, you can attach an image to you your email.
Notes:

Sometimes email programs append text to the bottom of each sent message; to make sure this cruft doesn't get posted to your blog, put #end at the end of your post.

The Quick Answer

On the Layouts tab, you can customize page elements, fonts and colors, HTML, and templates.
All newly created blogs automatically have Layouts enabled.
Old blogs with the Template tab can be upgraded from your dashboard.

Are you tired of dealing with HTML and CSS every time you want to change the look of your blog? Well, it turns out that there's an easier way. With the Layouts feature, you can drag-and-drop to move parts of your page around, and choose new fonts and colors with easy mouse clicks. Newly created blogs will work this way automatically, but for blogs without this feature, you'll need to upgrade your template. Here's how.

Find the name of your blog on your dashboard, and click the Template link next to it. If this link says Layout instead, then it's already upgraded and you can skip the rest of these steps.

On the Template page you should see the standard window of HTML code. Now look in the navigation links for the tab that says Customize Your Design and click it.

You'll get a message explaining that Blogger will make a backup of your current template and replace it with an upgraded one. The backup will be made available indefinitely, so you can revert back to it later if you need to. Click the Upgrade Your Template button to continue.

Choose one of our default template designs. You'll be able to modify it all you want, once you pick one of these as the starting point. Click Save Template when you've made your choice.

Once you've logged into Blogger you'll see your Dashboard, showing your list of blogs. Click the blue 'New Post' button to create a new post:
